Redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, small injection bumps.
Possible side effects
- Avoid makeup for 12–24 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
- Avoid extreme temperatures (e.g., saunas, steam rooms, ice baths) for 72 hours.
- Avoid touching or rubbing the treated areas for 48 hours.
- Avoid facials and advanced skin treatments for 2 weeks (unless advised otherwise).
- If you experience mild discomfort, you may take paracetamol (if suitable for you).
Treatment Aftercare
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment.
- If possible, avoid blood-thinning medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen for 72 hours (unless prescribed). If you take prescription anticoagulants/blood thinners, please let your practitioner know in advance.
- Please arrive with a clean, make-up free face where possible.
- Let us know if you’re unwell or have an active skin infection.
