Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are used to restore support, refine shape, and bring harmony to the face, without looking overdone. Our approach is always clinician-led and conservative: enhancing what’s already there and keeping your results natural, elegant and in proportion.

Dermal fillers are injectable gels (most commonly hyaluronic acid) that can be placed strategically to:
• restore lost volume and support
• soften deeper folds and shadows
• define contours (e.g., chin/jawline)
• enhance features while maintaining natural movement

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers may be suitable if you want to:

  • refresh a tired or “drawn” appearance
  • restore gentle lift and support through the mid-face
  • improve definition or balance in the chin/jawline
  • enhance lips while keeping them soft and natural
  • soften folds and shadows without looking “filled”

Who is it for?

Your treatment plan will depend on your facial structure, skin quality, and desired outcome.
  • Cheeks (support/lift)
  • Lips (shape, definition, hydration)
  • Chin (projection and balance)
  • Jawline (contour and definition)
  • Nasolabial folds (softening)
  • Marionette lines (softening)
  • Tear trough (selected clients only, following assessment)

Treatment overview

Beautiful filler results are about placement, proportion, and precision.

Our goal is not to change your face - it’s to support it, soften harsh shadows, and enhance your features in a way that looks effortless and unmistakably you.

Natural results - always

Treatment is tailored to your facial anatomy, skin quality, and goals — with a focus on balance,
safety, and longevity.

To minimise swelling/bruising and allow fillers to settle well:

  • Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated area unless advised by your clinician.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours.
  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
  • Avoid extreme heat or cold (saunas, steam rooms, ice baths) for 72 hours.
  • Avoid makeup for 12–24 hours where possible.
  • Avoid facials and advanced skin treatments for 2 weeks (we’ll advise on exact timings).
  • Sleep slightly elevated and avoid pressure on treated areas for the first 1–2 nights if possible.
  • For mild discomfort, you may take paracetamol (if suitable for you).

Dermal Fillers Aftercare

To help reduce bruising and support the best result:

  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment.
  • Where possible, avoid blood-thinning medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen for 72 hours before treatment (unless prescribed). If you take prescription blood thinners/anticoagulants, please tell your practitioner in advance.

  • If you’re prone to cold sores and are booking lip filler, let us know before your appointment.
  • Arrive with a clean, make-up free face where possible.
  • Plan treatment timing around important events — bruising or swelling can happen.

Dermal Fillers Pre-Treatment Advice

Pre & Post treatment advice

Dermal fillers are a medical procedure and should always be approached with care. Temporary swelling, tenderness and bruising are common. Less common risks include infection, delayed inflammation, or vascular compromise (rare but serious). We will discuss suitability fully, explain risks clearly, and provide an urgent contact pathway should you ever need us after treatment.
